The font chosen will be the font used for the mast head of my magazine. I want to give the "free" impression. That the magazine isn't trying to follow a previous media before, and offering a unique, informative magazine.

Will do - but we need to know what sort of impact you're looking to create on the reader?
ReplyDeleteEdgy, safe, urban etc...
Maybe think of a strapline for your mag and then think about which font connotates that meaning the best...
For example...
Metal Forces - banging heads since 1983
The banging heads part would be shown with a hard, solid font.
What best suits your goals?
